The Book of Acts Chapter 20 Verse32 states, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”

The First epistle of Peter Chapter 1 Verse 3-5 tell us, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” And verse 23 states, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”


The First epistle of Peter Chapter 5 Verse 8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” and the Gospel according to John Chapter 10 Verse 10 informs us that, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might haveitmore abundantly.” (Words in Red are Direct quotes from Jesus)

So we are to Watch out and be diligently observing, their is a thief trying to Steal, Kill, or Destroy  OUR  power, position, purpose, and/or possessions.


Some of the ways the Thief can do this is if we have a Hard Heart, afflictions and persecution, Offenses, Cares of this world, Deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things. You see in The Gospel of Mark Chapter 4 Verse 14 – 20 we read, “The sower soweth the word.And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receiveit,and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.


  • Stay open and receptive to Gods Word.                                                                                (The Book of James Chapter 1 Verse 21-25)
  • Endure hardships as a good soldier in the army of the Lord.                                        (Second Book of Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 1-2)
  • Avoid offenses, guard your heart.                                                                                           (The Book of Acts Chapter 24 Verse 13-16)
  • Roll all your cares upon Jesus, HE cares for you.                                                                (First Book of Peter Chapter 5 Verse 6 & 7)
  • Consecrate yourself to God and serve HIM.                                                                         (The Book of Romans Chapter 12 Verse 1 & 2)
  • Walk in the Spirit and do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.                                                 (The Book of Galatians Chapter 5 Verse 16)
  • Study and meditate Gods Word.                                                                                             (The Second Book of Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 15 & 16)
  • Submit to GOD and resist the devil.                                                                                           (Book of James Chapter 4 Verse 7)

You have to hunger and thirst for the things of God and HE will fill you up and guide you to victory in all areas of your life.

The Book of Joshua Chapter 1 and Verse 8 and 9 says you should not let, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

According God’s Word in Proverbs 14:34 it states “Righteousness makes a nation great, but sin diminishes any people.”

On November 6th 2012 we as a Nation are about to make a decision that can either help turn this Nation back toward or away from Righteousness. This Nation was made Great because of its stance for Righteousness from its founding.

What is Righteousness you may ask, well Webster Dictionary defines it like this, “1: acting in accord with divine or moral law : free from guilt or sin 2a: morally right or justifiable <a righteous decision> b: arising from an outraged sense of justice or morality <righteous indignation>

Our forefathers believed that a Righteous stance was needed as we left the tyranny of the rule of the English Empire in such that they penned such ideas in what became our Constitution. But today we have blood on our hands as a Nation, the sins of this Nation has made us vulnerable to not being great. It is true that God is Love and our Father in Heaven is a loving, caring God. But sin indeed has a diminishing effect on any Nation, large or small.

What sins you may ask, there are two very big sins that come to mind that cause our Nations greatness to diminish.

Our forefathers knew the importance to establish laws that protected people in pursuit of wellbeing and happiness.

The first big sin is we kill unwanted babies yearly in this Nation since the passage of Roe vs. Wade. See the actual statistics at the following link:  and yet God still Loves but His desire is that we turn back to what is right so we can be Great. The Word of God says that you should not kill (ie – premeditatively murder) but we do this every day by killing unwanted children. But God says in Psalm 127:4-6 of children this: “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.”

The second is the sin of homosexuality, God says in his Word the following in regards to this issue. In Leviticus 18:22 – Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Leviticus 20:13 – If a man also lies with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. In Deuteronomy 22:5 – The woman shall not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God. And finally in Romans 1:18 through 1:32 – “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

Now please my friends do not hear what I am not saying, I too am a sinner saved by Grace. I am not saying I have arrived to perfection. I too stumble from time to time. The Father still loves all mankind despite their actions, but there will be a consequence to their actions. All I am saying is Only God can judge people. But we can know his Word and Will. But we cannot continue to be habitual sinners and ignore the very decisions our forefathers made that made us a Great Nation and expect to continue to be Great, because the sin will cause us to diminish as a Nation. We must turn back to Righteousness or I dare think were we will head in the not to distance future.

There are two main candidates that are in the forefront to be the President for the next four years. You my friends must decide who of these two can turn us back toward Righteousness. I believe that if we turn back to Righteousness that we will be a Great and Prosperous Nation as we were before the economic collapse. We cannot continue to live off the past prosperity it will diminish if we do not turn back to Righteousness.

Please Vote according to Righteousness this November 6, 2012. And remember God loves you despite any short comings you may have, he merely hates the sins because they bring separation from Him. He is a Holy God.

Have Faith in GOD…

There is a lot to be said about having faith in God. Jesus taught much on having faith in God during His days of ministry in a human body. But their is one interesting statement He had in regards to faith in God and that is found in Luke chapter 18 verse 8 where Jesus says in part, “… Nevertheless when the Son of man (ie – Jesus) comes, shall he find FAITH on the earth?” Many of us here in the church in America have been blessed to have so much teaching on this word faith. But the rubber meets the road in do we apply it in all situations. If God is in control as many of us often declare, then we should have calm assurance that no matter what things around us look like, we can state with confidence and faith that “If God be for us , who can be against us?”, “We are blessed coming in and blessed going out!” and again, “One thing is sure, I have never seen God’s children begging for food or going hungry!”

Years ago while in prayer I saw an image while my eyes where closed. What I saw was a bird hop up a sidewalk towards a door, knock on the door, and when the door opened the bird flipped his wing out as if asking for a handout.” As I thought on what God was trying to show me, the scripture came to mind found in Matthew chapter 6 verses 25 and 26 where Jesus says, “Therefore I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Behold the birds of the air; for they sow not, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them; are you not much better than they are?” At the remembrance of this scripture I then heard God say to me, “son, when you see a bird begging for handouts, then you can worry that I am not going to take care of you!”  The word of God spoken here is for all who believe, not just me. Have faith in God, he cares for you more than you really can comprehend. God loves you as you are and will not forsake or leave you. Cling to Him and walk out your salvation in trembling and fear. Have endurance, for he who endures until the end will overcome even as the scriptures declare! (See Matthew chapter 24 verse 13).

Let your faith in God give you calm assurance unto endurance to run the race God has ordained you to run. You can trust His power and ability to deliver, heal, provide, save, and meet all your needs according to His riches in Heaven.

Walk with God and remember to be a faithful witness where ever you are, people need to know that there is a God who has forgiven them and loves them more than they know. For God was forgave all mankinds sin at calvary and nailed it to the cross with Jesus. But they must appropriate the forgiveness in there lives through confession to God, and God alone.

Christianity 101

Have you ever wondered what it means to be a Christian, really considered what it entails, could you recognize one if you saw one? Better yet is the risen Christ formed in you? When you look in the mirror, go about your daily tasks, mingle with other people, do you portray Christ? You know the old saying ” If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, then it must be a duck!”

Let us look at some characteristics that are proof that we are indeed portraying the living Christ. Simply put if we are Christians then we are followers of the teachings and actions of Jesus Christ.The Britannica World Language Edition of Funk & Wagnalls New Practical Standard Dictionary states it like this, “A Christian’ means a disciple of Jesus Christ; one whose profession and life conform to the teaching and example of Christ.” Andrew Murray in his book entitled ” In Christ” claimed, ” The fruit of a life in Christ is a life like Christ.”

Did you know that just going to church or fellowship does’nt neccesarily make you Christ like. It is a relationship with the living Lord of Lords (ie-Jesus Christ) that sets you on the journey of becoming Christ like. W.A. “Billy” Sunday the evangelist put it like this, ” Going to church does’nt make you a Christian anymore than going to a garage makes you an automobile.” And Justin Martyr stated, “Let it be understood that those who are not living by Christ’s teachings are not Christians at all – even though they might profess His teachings with their lips.”

Let us look at some of the main characteristics of a Christ like life.

I. True Christians love and have a relationship with Jesus Christ and are not ashamed to say so anywhere and in any situation. Saint Bernard said, ” The true measure of loving God is to love him without measure.”

II. True Christians will act with love towards all mankind, including their enemies and hating no human being. Andrew Murray claimed that, “To be a Christian just means to have the Spirit of Christ, to have His love, and to have been made by Him a fountain of love, springing up and flowering out in streams of living water.”

II. True Christians will adhere to the teachings of Jesus Christ and do them, not just hear them. Herrick Johnson stated, The devotion to the person of Christ that steers clear of the doctrine and precepts of Christ, is but sentimental rhapsody.”

Brethren let us be about our Fathers business, even as our Lord and savior Jesus Christ has led by example. Jesus promised that he would not leave us without the ability to live a life that was Christ like, just trust Him. He sent the promise of the Father to be in you and with you to remind you all things that concern being Christ Like. Let us put aside the things that hold us back. Christ Likeness is the goal and you can do it, yes you can.

Recently we celebrated our Independence here in America from past tyrannies that imposed control over it’s citizens. But do you realize that if you are Christ’s you are free from the tyrannies of control that the spiritual realms impose(ie- The World System, the Devil, and yes, even your own flesh nature that is influenced by the two previously mentioned).

As a believer in Christ who is developing their relationship with Father God through the sacrafice of Jesus Christ, you should be celebrating your Independence as citizens of the KINGDOM of GOD every day. For truly, he who the SON sets free is free indeed. Father God knew we would need help so, for all those of us who ask, HE sent the HOLY SPIRIT to live in and with us to help teach, guide, comfort, and train us. The HOLY SPIRIT even brings to remembrance all that JESUS had spoken. And God says where the Spirit of the Lord is their is Liberty (ie- Freedom). This freedom is not to continue in our sins, but to be free of our sins and the bondage that holds us back from all that Father God wants us to be. Don’t continue to be held in slavery to sin and the wiles of the enemy (ie- the devil, satan, etc).

You can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens you. You are equipped as part of the army of GOD. That army is a victorious army, it will not lose. Spend time as much time as you can with GOD, HE desires to spend time with you and tell you how much he loves and cherishes you as the apple of his eye.

You are special to Father and He has great things planned for you if you will just come to Him and follow his guidance through the Holy Spirit.
