Jail Escape Brazil Page3

The Book of Acts Chapter 20 Verse32 states, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”

The First epistle of Peter Chapter 1 Verse 3-5 tell us, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” And verse 23 states, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

WHO IS THIS THIEF?

The First epistle of Peter Chapter 5 Verse 8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” and the Gospel according to John Chapter 10 Verse 10 informs us that, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might haveitmore abundantly.” (Words in Red are Direct quotes from Jesus)

So we are to Watch out and be diligently observing, their is a thief trying to Steal, Kill, or Destroy  OUR  power, position, purpose, and/or possessions.

HOW CAN HE DO THIS?

Some of the ways the Thief can do this is if we have a Hard Heart, afflictions and persecution, Offenses, Cares of this world, Deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things. You see in The Gospel of Mark Chapter 4 Verse 14 – 20 we read, “The sower soweth the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receiveit, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

HOW CAN WE PREVENT THIS THEFT?

  • Stay open and receptive to Gods Word.                                                                                (The Book of James Chapter 1 Verse 21-25)
  • Endure hardships as a good soldier in the army of the Lord.                                        (Second Book of Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 1-2)
  • Avoid offenses, guard your heart.                                                                                           (The Book of Acts Chapter 24 Verse 13-16)
  • Roll all your cares upon Jesus, HE cares for you.                                                                (First Book of Peter Chapter 5 Verse 6 & 7)
  • Consecrate yourself to God and serve HIM.                                                                         (The Book of Romans Chapter 12 Verse 1 & 2)
  • Walk in the Spirit and do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.                                                 (The Book of Galatians Chapter 5 Verse 16)
  • Study and meditate Gods Word.                                                                                             (The Second Book of Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 15 & 16)
  • Submit to GOD and resist the devil.                                                                                           (Book of James Chapter 4 Verse 7)

You have to hunger and thirst for the things of God and HE will fill you up and guide you to victory in all areas of your life.

The Book of Joshua Chapter 1 and Verse 8 and 9 says you should not let, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

IF GOD BE FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US. THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN ANYTHING WE COULD POSSIBLE FACE.
